The Cold War

What did I choose?

The cold war began circa nineteen forty-seven anno Domini, and involved little to no violence. It consisted of high hostility and tension between the two greatest world powers, the Untied States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and of course it was an ultimate cold battle. Both nations and their respective allies had nuclear weapons and, in result, could cause great damage. The iron curtain was a bloc that separated communist nations from those capitalist in Europe, but the Soviet Union wanted to push it forward, white United States wanted to push it back.

Why did I choose?

I chose this topic because I am particularly interested in many of the separate histories between the early twentieth century toward nearly the beginning of the twenty-first. This period of time consisted of a deal of hostilities inclusive to, but not limited to, the World Wars, the Vietnam War, and the Cold War. One nuke dropped on the other hostile nation, and the ultimate fate of history could have changed, with a new age of executed hostility begun. Throughout the inaudible clash, neither nation wanted to come down to using nuclear weapons, but if it must happen, it shall.
