The topic we chose to do is Cthulhu because he is the great one. Cthulhu is described as part octopus, part man, and part dragon. He is an entity that has been worshipped in a lot of cults from the past and even now. Cthulhu is a part of the Great Old Ones. He is said to be hibernating within an underwater city in the South Pacific called R'lyeh. Cthulhu is getting his beauty sleep before he gets up and takes over earth. He is capable of controlling the minds of humans since he is so powerful but he is said to only rise when the stars align perfectly.
We chose this topic because Cthulhu is amazing. By just glancing at him, it will drive you insane, or so they say. Also, Cthulhu is very interesting and underrated. He is a great entity that caught our attention and we kind of wanted to learn more about him as we did our project. It is not something that we were both very educated on so it seemed like a good idea to learn as we go. At the end of it, it really was not a bad idea at all.
