Last year I watched a movie about this guy named John Dillinger. The movie was called, "Public Enemies" starring Johnny Depp. I only watched the movie because of Depp. He's my favorite actor in the whole wide world. So the movies starts and it was exciting from the first second. I soon became fascinated by the John Dillinger character. He was a genius. The way he operates with his fellow gang members to break out of prison.
My fascination of John led me to do more research on him. It turned out that the movie was quite accurate. He did die at the Biograph theater. He had a fan though. His name was Melvin Purvis of the FBI. He was the Special Agent in Charge. He was responsible for catching John Dillinger. He did in fact help catch and kill Dillinger. However, after the Dillinger case, Purvis resigned from the FBI in 1935. In 1960, Melvin Purvis died from a gunshot wound. Some believe that he committed suicide.
