The Holocaust was a sytematic,state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime, also known as "Germans". The word Holocaust came from the origin meaning "sacrifice by fire." The Germans believed that the Jews were inferior in the racial group and they were superior, so they did what they thought was fit which was kill and demolish the Jewish race. During the era, The Jews weren't the only racial group targetted by the Germans there was Gypsies, the disabled, Slavic People, Russians, Poles and etc. The Nazi's influenced many Europeans to do the same.

Brandon and I chose this theme because it was both educational and horrendous. The holocaust was a disastrous time for all races. It was scary and emotional to think of what people went through, nobody should go through that. So we chose this because we wanted to inform and let people know that they can't relate to the pain they felt. The Holocaust was a moving story that moved the minds of many and Brandon & I were one of the many that became very emotional and distraught to this event.
