Use CSS3 to change the box-shadow property to desired values to get boxed shadows on any element. In this example, I place box shadows on divs, but you can easily apply box shadows on h2, headers, footers, etc.

Example:

box-shadow: 10px 10px 5px #888;

You can provide optional values to get different effects. See CSS comments.

horizontal offset (move shadow left or right)

vertical offset (move shadow up or down)

blur (make shadow blurry)

color (change color of shadow)
